The BZ420X Undersuit

In October 2024, SANTI Diving presented what's to become its flagship undersuit for the near future, the BZ420X, for cold water diving and extreme conditions.
The BZ420X is based on the legendary BZ400, with over a thousand users worldwide, many of whom have rated it the warmest undersuit on the market for decades.
In the words of SANTI CEO Tomasz Stachura, the BZ420X now offers even higher thermal protection than its predecessor, ensuring even greater comfort during dives in extreme conditions.
While retaining all the best features of the popular BZ400X: the signature elastic cuffs, inner suspenders, and convenient air flow ribbons for dry glove systems, ensuring full freedom of movement and ease of use during dives, the new undersuit provides superior insulation and durability.
The new "brick style" stitching system of the BZ420X is more durable and promises to keep the fabric and inner layer and thinsulate in perfect condition for years to come.
Based on the concept of "If it works, it works, don't change things", SANTI is sticking to Thinsulate BZ for thermal protection as the best solution on the market.
The pre-compressed BZ means that you get the same insulation on the surface or underwater with the added benefit of ongoing thermal protection, even if a suit floods, to get you out of emergencies.
The inner layer of the BZ420X is even thicker than that of the BZ400X, which means increased insulation by around 10%.
One thing that stands out with this new model is its modern aesthetics with practical features, meaning you don’t just look good in it but also feel good when wearing it in and out of your drysuit.
The innovative design of the BZ420X includes shoulder and knee gussets that allow comfortable and free movement.
Softer material around the shoulder area in the BZ420X promises more effortless arm movement and a less restrictive feeling compared to the BZ400X.
