It's the ideal choice for divers seeking style, substance, and reliability in any environment, featuring maximum thermal performance, smooth breathing, and advanced ergonomics.
The Apeks EVX Tungsten regulator combines state-of-the-art regulator technology with rugged good looks and durability based on the world-leading manufacturer's evolution of 50 years of technical expertise.
Maximum thermal performance, super-smooth breathing and advanced ergonomics set the EVX Tungsten apart, making it the perfect regulator for divers who want style, substance and exceptional performance, no matter the environment.
Apeks EVX Tungsten 1st Stage
Engineered for peak performance, The Apeks EVX Tungsten first stage regulator features a PVD-coated brass body with heat-exchanging ribs, maximising thermal efficiency for even the coldest of diving conditions. The ribbed diaphragm clamp further enhances heat exchange, ensuring optimal function.
Its unique over-balanced diaphragm design provides superior deep-water performance by increasing medium-pressure gas delivery at a rate exceeding ambient pressure.
And the integrated Auto-Closure Device (ACD) system effectively prevents water ingress, ensuring reliability. For versatile hose management, the EVX Tungsten offers five medium-pressure ports and two angled high-pressure ports, which are ideal for optimal routing and transmitter fitting.
- PVD-coated brass body with heat-exchanging ribs for maximum thermal performance.
- Ribbed diaphragm clamp for improved heat exchange in cold water conditions.
- Unique over-balanced diaphragm design – as the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the medium-pressure gas in the hose to increase at a faster rate than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth.
- ACD system prevents water ingress.
- 5 x medium-pressure ports for improved hose orientation, 2 x angled high-pressure ports for optimal hose routing and fitting of transmitters.
- Double swivel hose for greater freedom of movement and comfort.
Apeks EVX Tungsten 2nd Stage
The EVX Tungsten second stage stands out for its performance and durability. Prioritising both performance and comfort, its ergonomic and easy-to-use venturi lever, combined with a large breathing effort adjuster, ensures simple adjustments even in cold water and while wearing gloves.
The laminar flow valve and two-stage progressive purge button provide smooth, reliable airflow and functionality. The reversible second stage allows for versatility for left- or right-hand gas supply configuration. A built-in heat exchanger combats cold gas expansion by harnessing ambient water warmth, enhancing breathing comfort.
The innovative Diver Changeable Exhaust (DCE) system, including small and large exhaust tees, enables divers to customise their exhaust configuration. Along with the popular Apeks Comfo-bite mouthpiece and a flexible nylon braided hose, this creates a superior diving experience.
- Ergonomic and simple to use venturi lever.
- Large breathing effort adjuster makes adjustment easy in cold water whilst wearing gloves.
- Laminar flow valve.
- 2 stage progressive purge button.
- Reversible second stage for either a left or right-hand gas supply configuration.
- A heat exchanger dissipates the cold caused by gas expansion while drawing in the warmth of the ambient water for a more comfortable breathe.
- Features an innovative Diver Changeable Exhaust system (DCE). The system gives the diver the ability to change from a small exhaust tee to a large exhaust tee. The regulator is supplied with both sets of exhaust tees.
- Comfo-bite mouthpiece
- Flexible nylon braided hose, which has better cold water performance than traditional rubber hose.
