What are Apeks Luna X burn times?

Burn times range from 3.5 to 14 hours. This depends greatly on the selected setting. Indeed, Apeks lists detailed burn times. For instance:

Control Buttons and Changing Settings:

Two control buttons exist on the light head's back. Thus, it allows ease of use. Double-click either button to activate the torch. Thereafter, the light will recall the last operation setting. 

The left button controls power output. The right button alters the mode. To switch off, press either button for one second. 

A strobe mode activates from an off position. This occurs with a three-second button press. 

Furthermore, the Apeks Luna X has a travel lock feature. In other words, pressing any button for one second will disable activation while turned off. Equally, a second press will unlock the buttons. Additionally, the travel lock deactivates if the battery is detached and then reconnected.

What does ITM (Intelligent Thermal Management) do?

Patented technology fights LED efficiency loss. This happens during elevated temperatures. Essentially, ITM maintains optimal output. Thereby, it maximises efficiency. 

There is a sweet spot for temperature-balancing light output. Also, it optimises battery burn time. Beyond that point, LEDs lose efficiency. 

The Apeks Luna-X Torch ITM utilises intelligent circuitry. This monitors LED temperature. Consequently, it adjusts power. Thus, LEDs maintain optimal efficiency. 

Power adjustments cause minimal light output drops. Conversely, they maximise the burn time. Moreover, the ITM system and advanced body design boost heat dissipation. Therefore, power waste is minimized, maximizing burn time.

What is the Fuel Gauge Function?

The LED display shows the remaining runtime. This occurs in hours and minutes. Additionally, it shows data for 10 seconds. Moreover, it activates when the Luna X powers on. 

Likewise, it activates after changing mode or output. A bi-colour LED reflects the remaining battery percentage. Consequently, it uses indicators such as:

• Green: 100-80%
• Green Pulse: 85-70%
• Amber: 70-55%
• Amber Pulse: 55-40%
• Red: 40-25%
• Red Pulse: 25-10%
• Red Flash: 10% to Empty.

Is Apeks Luna X Torch suitable for air travel?

Yes! Air travel poses no problems. The battery size is within airline limits. Moreover, the light head detaches. Consequently, it meets air travel needs.

INTERNATIONAL EXCEPTIONS:

For international orders containing weights, cylinders (excluding suit inflation bottles) and Suex scooters please contact us in advance before placing your order.

These products are not included in our global max-capped shipping rates and are only shipped outside of UK mainland after freight cost is calculated based on total weight, dimensions of parcel, location of delivery and the courier service used. We will let you know what this cost will be before processing any order.

All cylinders we ship within and outside of UK mainland are filled and tested on site before being emptied for dispatch. Cylinders shipped outside of the UK will be empty and will also have their valves removed, requiring reassembly after you receive delivery. Twinset manifolds and bands will also be removed and dispatched together with the cylinders for safe global shipping.

Note that all returned items are shipped at the customer's own risk and remain the customer's property until received by Underwater Explorers, so please ensure they are packaged well and use reliable postal services with tracking facilities. The goods will be inspected on arrival. 

Return postages are at your own cost and our outbound shipping costs (if items are sold with integrated basic shipping charges i.e. Free shipping for orders £45 and above) the UK shipping rate may be deducted from any UK mainland refund unless linked to a fault/defect claim.
