XTX50 with breathing effort adjustment
The Apeks XTX50 Second Stage offers precise breathing control, making it a favorite among divers. It features an easy-to-use breathing effort adjustment for personalized comfort. Furthermore, the XTX50 second stage can be converted from right-handed to left-handed. This conversion utilizes the innovative Reversible Venturi System (RVS). Any Apeks Authorised Service Technician can perform this simple change, ensuring convenient customization.
Additionally, the XTX50 Second Stage incorporates the Diver Changeable Exhausts (DCE) system. This allows divers to easily switch between exhaust tees. The large exhaust tee for minimal bubble interference is ideal for capturing stunning underwater photos. Choose the small exhaust tee for a more compact and streamlined setup.
Moreover, the Apeks XTX50 boasts a durable, two-shot, high-strength composite front cover. This robust design protects the demand valve's most vulnerable part, ensuring long-lasting performance. Also, the thoughtfully designed ergonomic Venturi lever minimizes grit ingress, maintaining smooth operation. Finally, a high-quality silicone exhaust valve enhances breathing performance, providing effortless and reliable airflow.
- Adjustable breathing adjustment control
- Integrated venturi control
- Pneumatically balanced valve design
- Micro Adjuster
- Suitable for cold water use
- Right or Left-hand hose configuration
- Changeable Exhaust Tees
- Comfobite Mounthpiece
DST first stages with 5th port
This regulator offers all the standard DST First Stage features. However, it adds a 5th medium pressure port. This port sits on top of the rotating turret. Consequently, it's perfect for various sidemount setups. These include stage bottles, CCR bailout, and sidemount configurations.
This end-port on the Apeks DST First Stage allows flexible hose routing. Attach any length dry suit or wing LP hose. Directly connect to your kit. Meanwhile, the other four medium ports remain available. Use them for other essential hoses.
Furthermore, the DST uses a diaphragm to control gas flow. This is instead of a piston. Therefore, it is considered more durable and reliable in cold water. Additionally, the DST 1st stage has an environmentally sealed dry chamber. This, in turn, prevents water from contacting the spring. Ultimately, this helps prevent freezing.
The DST is well-respected in technical and sidemount diving. Indeed, it is often a first-choice regulator. This is especially true for stage bottles and sidemount.
- Environmentally sealed first stage
- Dry sealed balanced swivel turret first stage
- 5 MP ports mounted on a swivel turret
- 2 HP ports on the body
- Finished in highly polished chrome
- Diaphragm-type design ensures durability and cold-water performance.
- Over-balanced design provides smooth breathing at depth.
