This coldwater-rated Apeks XTX50 Regulator with a XTX50 Octopus is ideal for discerning divers. It offers feature-rich performance at a moderate price. Both second stages have breathing adjusment for ultimate control. Four medium-pressure ports are mounted on a rotating turret. This eliminates sharp bends in the hose.

Apeks XTX50 Second Stage

The classic Apeks XTX50 second stage offers precise breathing control. It features a breathing effort adjustment. Furthermore, the XTX50 easily converts from right to left-handed. This is known as the Reversible Venturi System (RVS). Any Apeks Authorized Service Technician can perform this conversion quickly.

Additionally, the XTX50 features Diver Changeable Exhausts (DCE). Divers can switch between a small and large exhaust tee. The wider tee minimises bubbles, which is perfect for underwater photography. The narrow tee provides a compact, comfortable setup. Moreover, the XTX50's two-shot composite front cover enhances durability. This protects the most vulnerable part.

The ergonomic Venturi lever reduces grit ingress. A silicone exhaust valve improves breathing performance.

Apeks DST First Stage

The Apeks DST first stage features a rotating turret. This reduces hose tension and optimises hose positioning. Its unique over-balanced diaphragm design enhances deep-water performance. As the diver descends, medium pressure gas increases. This increase is faster than ambient pressure. A dry chamber prevents freezing by keeping water away from the spring.

Next, the Apeks XTX50 Octopus utilises Diver Changeable Exhausts. This system lets you switch between small and large exhaust tees. Therefore, you can choose a wider exhaust tee. 

Moreover, the XTX50 Octopus features a two-shot, high-strength composite front cover. This improves the durability of the demand valve’s vulnerable part. Also, the ergonomic Venturi lever reduces grit ingress.

INTERNATIONAL EXCEPTIONS:

For international orders containing weights, cylinders (excluding suit inflation bottles) and Suex scooters please contact us in advance before placing your order.

These products are not included in our global max-capped shipping rates and are only shipped outside of UK mainland after freight cost is calculated based on total weight, dimensions of parcel, location of delivery and the courier service used. We will let you know what this cost will be before processing any order.

All cylinders we ship within and outside of UK mainland are filled and tested on site before being emptied for dispatch. Cylinders shipped outside of the UK will be empty and will also have their valves removed, requiring reassembly after you receive delivery. Twinset manifolds and bands will also be removed and dispatched together with the cylinders for safe global shipping.

We offer a 30 day return for any product sold under our Returns & Refunds Policy Please contact us before any return with your order number and date details. Note that all returned items are shipped at the customer's own risk and remain the customer's property until received by Underwater Explorers, so please ensure they are packaged well and use reliable postal services with tracking facilities. The goods will be inspected on arrival. 

Return postages are at your own cost and our outbound shipping costs (if items are sold with integrated basic shipping charges i.e. Free shipping for orders £45 and above) the UK shipping rate may be deducted from any UK mainland refund unless linked to a fault/defect claim.
