The Halcyon Symbios Handset Dive Computer delivers exceptional power and functionality in a compact, slim, user-friendly design.

The Symbios Handset, similar to the the Symbios HUD, is the core of Halcyon’s Symbios Technology, an ecosystem designed to enhance your diving experience with advanced features and prepare you for today’s adventures and tomorrow’s challenges.

The Symbios is a multi-gas dive computer utilising the ZHL16-C algorithm with adjustable gradient factors, accommodating up to five gases for Open Circuit diving, fixed or integrated CCR, Integrated Sidemount, and Gauge modes.

Depth-rated to 120 metres, the Symbios operates on a rechargeable Li-ion battery, providing up to 30 hours of runtime with five brightness levels. The unit also displays the normal maximum average for any dive, CO2 levels, and the CNS and OTO accumulations, along with the gradient factor.

Hybrid Transflective Screen 

The Symbios' 2.4" transflective full-colour display offers excellent visibility and power efficiency and can be adjusted depending on the amount of ambient light on it. The screen reflects ambient light to improve clarity and allow visibility even with the backlight off; it performs exceptionally well in direct sunlight.

Sophisticated Wireless Technology

With industry-leading wireless technology, the Symprosis dive computer can receive wide-ranging data from up to 9 transmitters, including sources such as RB, DPV, HP, GPS/ Positioning systems, Trim, and more. 

• From the Symbios Tank POD:
  Diver orientation (trim position) and gas pressure
• From Symbios connected CCRs:
  Oxygen Levels (PO2 on three cells)
  Battery charge state, CO2, scrubber temperature, and more
• From Symbios Enabled Products:
  Diver location from Symbios GPS POD
  DPV of other device battery levels
  Runtime, remaining time, battery health personal performance and/or biometric data

The handset uses "checksums" to isolate the potential for corrupt data. Symbios Technology reduces risk even compared to wired connections, where a corroded wire with high resistance sends compromised data.

The Symbios handset also gives you seamless rebreather integration. It effortlessly connects with the Halcyon Symbios Rebreather and is future-ready for wireless integration with an expanding range of rebreathers.

The set fulfils all EMC requirements and is FCC and CE compliant. 

Moreover, with the Symbios, you can even monitor your dive buddy's rebreather data or other available parameters, such as gas supply for paired transmitters.
