The Scubapro MK17 EVO C370 Regulator combines Scubapro’s premium diaphragm first stage with its lightest air-balanced second stage.

The Scubapro MK17 EVO 2 first stage is completely sealed off from the elements, ensuring trouble-free operation no matter how cold or murky the water gets. It is compact yet delivers better breathing performance than its predecessor. Its improved internal design allows more airflow from the LP ports reconfigured for better hose routing.

The Scubapro C370 second stage brings forth the best features of its predecessor while adding a balanced valve to its design. Its exhaust tee, based on the S620 Ti’s design, contributes to an improvement in work of breathing. It’s a smart reg system for all kinds of diving applications.

Scubapro MK17 EVO C370 Regulator includes

  • Scubapro C370 Second Stage
  • Scubapro MK17 2 EVO First Stage
  • Scubapro High-flow Regulator Hose

Features of Scubapro C370 Second Stage

Air-balanced valve smoothes out the inhalation effort at varying depths and supply pressures.

Compact, rugged fiberglass reinforced nylon casing and new exhaust tee take up little space in a dive bag. The stainless steel frame on the front cover adds the Scubapro C-Series signature.

A new poppet and lever allow the design to maintain the same overall size as the C350. A new exhaust tee based on the S620 Ti's design contributes to better work of breathing (a 10% improvement over the C350)

User controls of Scubapro C370 Second Stage include a diver-adjustable inhalation effort knob and Venturi-Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA). The large purge button is easy to activate, even wearing thick gloves.

Compact Hi-Flow mouthpiece improves airflow as well as mouth comfort, fitting all mouth sizes, from smaller to largest

Features of Scubapro MK17 EVO 2 First Stage

The Scubapro MK17 EVO 2 First Stage elevates performance and reliability. It also improves compactness and freezing resistance. Consequently, it stands as a top-tier sealed diaphragm first stage from Scubapro. For many years, the MK17 line has been Scubapro’s leading sealed diaphragm first stage.

Moreover, the MK17 EVO 2 is more compact and lightweight. It exceeds both its MK17 EVO predecessor and the MK19 EVO. Furthermore, a NEW forged body and dry chamber enhance it. A twin spring layout increases reliability and compactness.

Additionally, two newly designed HP ports sit at a 15-degree angle. This design simplifies HP hose routing. Therefore, it eliminates the need for a transmitter adapter. A Scubapro transmitter now attaches directly to the first stage.

Sealed balanced diaphragm design creates a compact first stage. This suits cold water or contaminated diving conditions. Besides, an air-balanced diaphragm delivers consistent airflow. It does this regardless of depth, tank pressure, or breathing rate.

Furthermore, a dry chamber is completely environmentally sealed. A dual diaphragm system keeps out contaminated water. The rib design enhances heat exchange. This makes the first stage cold waterproof.

  • Nitrox compatible up to 40%.
  • Diaphragm 1st stage.
  • Chrome-Plated Brass construction.
  • Suitable for warm, cold, and temperate waters.
  • Two HP Ports.
  • Four LP Ports.

DIN or A-clamp first stage?

Most of our divers prefer DIN fitting on the 1st stage regulator. A DIN regulator has a threaded post which screws into the inside of a DIN tank valve and has no additional metal or braces that run behind the valve. This, together with the position of its o-ring, creates a more secure seal on the tank.

YOKE (or A-Clamp) 1st stages have an oblong metal brace that completely encircles the tank valve when in place and is screwed down on the tank valve when the yoke screw is tightened.

Both regulators seal to the scuba tank through an o-ring where the o-ring on a Yoke valve is in the tank valve itself as opposed to DIN regulators with their own o-ring.

DIN fittings are commonly accepted as more secure, but Yoke valves are common throughout North America and recreational tourist destinations. A DIN regulator can be adapted to Yoke valves by using an A-clamp adapter for travel.
