We’re located on the Isle of Portland (in Dorset) because Portland has been one of the most popular scuba diving locations in the United Kingdom even before we set up operations here back in the year 2000.

On one side, we’re minutes away from the sheltered waters of Portland Marina and Harbour, while on the other, it’s just a brief walk to reach our famous scuba diving destination Chesil Cove and start of the 16-mile-long Chesil Beach.

The Shearwater Peregrine is ideal for decompression and no-decompression diving, multiple recreational dives with Shearwater's tested and proven reliable algorithm working in the background.

You'll be able to use this dive computer with 4 modes:

Air
Nitrox
3 Gas Nitrox
Gauge

What do the gas modes mean?

If you're diving air, the computer will base your dive on 21% O2. If you're diving Nitrox, all you have to do with a couple of button presses is to tell the computer what your O2 is (i.e. 32%, 36% etc.) As simple as that.

And, you're doing decompression diving using one or two decompression gases for the ascent phase you tell the computer what your bottom gas O2 is, the partial pressure of O2 you use for decompression (i.e. 1.5, 1.6 etc) and the O2 in your decompression stage bottles.

What is gauge mode?

With a screen layout different to gas modes, selecting Gauge Mode will turn the computer into a reliable "bottom timer". Decompression tissues are not tracked in this mode. On dive display the screen will show dive time, maximum depth, average depth, temperature and time. Gauge mode also supports an on-screen Stopwatch if needed. Gauge mode is ideal for free divers as well as making the unit an affordable backup depth gauge and timer for mixed gas gas divers.

Optional Shearwater Swift Transmitter

With smart AI technology, the Shearwater Swift Transmitter creates a highly reliable connection, listens for other transmitters, and only communicates when the channel is clear by avoiding collision with other signals. Now, divers can use multiple transmitters near each other without worrying about potential interference.

This advanced technology is leveraged by Shearwater's new firmware, which includes support for up to 4 transmitters on compatible Shearwater models. This firmware also includes exciting new features like advanced screen customisation and AI Sidemount mode.

The no-tools design makes it easy to remove and replace the Shearwater Swift Transmitter from the 1st stage (gone is the need to find a particular size tool to tighten or loosen the transmitter, making it perfect for travel!)

A double O-ring seal protects a user-replaceable 3v CR2 lithium battery, offering up to 300 hours. The LED status indicator lets the diver know things are functioning as they should at a glance during setup.

Constructed from high-quality oxygen-compatible components, at only 135g and 76mm x 34mm, the Swift is compact, rugged and rated 200m depth and 300bar gas pressure.

Compatible with all existing air-integrated Shearwater dive computers and many other computers already on the market.

These products are not included in our global max-capped shipping rates and are only shipped outside of UK mainland after freight cost is calculated based on total weight, dimensions of parcel, location of delivery and the courier service used. We will let you know what this cost will be before processing any order.

All cylinders we ship within and outside of UK mainland are filled and tested on site before being emptied for dispatch. Cylinders shipped outside of the UK will be empty and will also have their valves removed, requiring reassembly after you receive delivery. Twinset manifolds and bands will also be removed and dispatched together with the cylinders for safe global shipping.
