The Suex VR-T Scooter is a recreational DPV with two-speed control and HI-GR pound propeller. VRT-T DVP comes with a NiMH battery, making it suitable for air travel. VR-T recharges in just 4.5 hours and offers 100 minutes of autonomy at cruising speed and 60 minutes at a maximum speed of 65m/min. UK delivery only.

Our brick-and-mortar store Underwater Explorers based on Portland, Dorset is open to visitors Friday through Mondays including bank holidays. Although the store front is closed to visits Tuesday through Thursdays, our online store is staffed 7 days a week.

Why Portland?

We’re located on the Isle of Portland (in Dorset) because Portland has been one of the most popular scuba diving locations in the United Kingdom even before we set up operations here back in the year 2000.

On one side, we’re minutes away from the sheltered waters of Portland Marina and Harbour, while on the other, it’s just a brief walk to reach our famous scuba diving destination Chesil Cove and start of the 16-mile-long Chesil Beach.  

Portland’s location makes it ideal for scuba diving, freediving, snorkelling and other surface water sports activities.

Alongside dive clubs, many instructors and dive schools travel here to train and offer scuba diving certification ranging from open water diver to mixed-gas tech diving or rebreather diving levels.

Whether you’re doing a boat dive from Portland Marina or Castletown or a shore dive at Chesil Cove, Portland is well known for offering many possibilities: Reef diving to wreck diving and night diving, underwater photography or underwater videography. With an impressive 100-minute runtime on cruising speed, the powerful, compact and reliable Suex VR-T Scooter will cover most open water diving conditions and equipment configurations, taking the effort out of your diving while reducing your work of breathing.

With two-speed control, PropLock propeller and body in Hi-GR Compound, you can travel underwater for up to 60 minutes at a maximum speed of 65m/min, use the scooter to follow a hotline down even in currents, do the whole length of most wrecks and dive sites available down to 100 metres.

Highlights of Suex VR-T Scooter

Weighing only 16.5kg on the surface with a length of 720mm, the Suex VRT is easy to transport on and off dive boats. The external main switch makes long transport out of the water safer without accidentally switching on.

Suex VRX PropLock system adds to underwater safety by allowing divers to easily remove the propellor underwater to disengage any plants or fishing lines that may get caught up.

The VR-T uses a NiMH battery, making it suitable for air travel, allowing you to travel around the world without worrying about logistics.
